Our Tarnish Resistant beads, findings, and components are made with a jeweller’s quality brass or copper base, making them nickel and lead free and suitable for sensitive skin. Each piece is then plated with genuine 14K gold, 925 sterling silver, or 14K rose gold. Finally, a specialised tarnish-resistant coating is applied to create a protective barrier that helps preserve the plating and maintain its shine for longer.

While our Tarnish Resistant range is designed to be durable, it is still a plated product and should be treated with care to maintain its finish.

To help extend the life of your jewellery or components:

• Avoid exposure to chlorine, salt water, sunscreen, perfume, and other harsh chemicals, as these can gradually break down the protective coating and plating.
• Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, or bathing.
• If cleaning is required, gently wash in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners or chemicals.
• Store jewellery or jewellery components in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
